The Brwn Collective is a small, Black woman owned home goods brand based in Toronto, Canada. It was formed on the belief that we are happiest when we are surrounded by people and things that make us feel good about ourselves.
We know candles aren't the key to happiness, but our hope is that they add a smile to your day. Our goods are handmade in small batches. Every piece is carefully-crafted with love.

"Brwn Collective is a marriage between two passions of mine: being creative and helping people feel seen."
Sagal Ali launched Brwn Collective at the height of the pandemic as a form of self-care and with the hope that her candles bring a little joy in a particularly difficult time.
In her day job, Sagal is a diversity and inclusion leader where much of her focus is on creating spaces where people feel welcomed, heard and valued.
"We all know how good it feels to be included and even celebrated. It's a joyful sense of belonging," she said. "I try to recreate that feeling for people with everything I make. Even if it's just a candle!"
